Second Assignment Update: Help a Charity Victimized By Crime
SECOND ASSIGNMENT UPDATE: We were asked to help Columbus non-profit The Brian Muha Memorial Foundation, Inc./The Run The Race Club after it had been vandalized by young teens. Its soon-to-open bookstore and t-shirt printing business, designed to teach young people how to run a business and other life skills, suffered thousands of dollars of damage. And our first update, with the links to the media coverage here.
REFERRING OFFICER: Columbus Division of Police Officer Nick Sands, 19 Precinct, Hilltop
We are very happy that Ofc Sands brought this Assignment to us, and that 10TV - WBNS and NBC4 did stories about it. Thanks to them for raising awareness, and to all of you for your generosity, we've raised $1,015--enough to cover the insurance deductible for the Muha Foundation, which we're sending in care of Rachel Muha (pictured) today.
We'll have more updates about this one--don't worry. But we wanted to make sure you knew about this crucial milestone. 🥰
