"Doing Great. Enjoying!"

Thank you all for your generosity and for supporting me on the hotel. I very much appreciate your kind words and your messages.

I texted with Jim multiple times today, and he says he's "Doing great. Enjoying!" He and I both agree he shouldn't be driving his old car anywhere (we were lucky to get it to the hotel), so he's walking anywhere he needs to go. The plan is to get him into his new vehicle, and checked out of the hotel, on Tuesday. If his new car isn't ready on Tuesday or if that doesn't work out for some reason, we'll extend him another day.

For those of you used to seeing him at the gym, he won't be there for a few days. I tried to get him something closer to it, but it just wasn't possible.

I imagine this is like a vacation for him, and I'm not going to lie: I'm hoping maybe this stay will make him more open to other housing options beyond the one he's been waiting for (and will wait several more months for). Last week, COL Hang cautioned me against trying to change too many things in Jim's life at one time, and I haven't forgotten that. I'm not pushing him. But I can hope!
