Today, AEP Ohio and Columbus Division of Police came together at Columbus Police Training Academy to stuff all 1,000 of our backpacks for our Cops and Barbers events, which are coming up on Sunday 8/18 and Monday 8/19.
Special thanks to Cmdr Robert Meader and his staff for the pre-bag stuffing tour and the generous use of the Academy facilities. A huge thank you to the 39 recruits who volunteered to stay after a grueling day of training to stuff bags, but were then stuck with the very un-glamorous task of assisting with clean up because AEP Ohio rocketed through all 1,000 of them in 45 minutes! Next year, we'll make it a competition of the recruits versus AEP Ohio so they get a chance! ;)
