Columbus Division of Police Officer James Poole recently came in contact with an unlicensed driver who said he was going to buy formula for his infant. Officer Poole made arrangements for the gentleman and his car to get home safely, then spoke to the couple about their situation. They'd recently moved from out of state and funds were tight.
Officer Poole shared with them the website we give out to people who need help with resources, and after finding out what kind of formula their baby needs, went out to purchase enough to last them for a while. Arrangements were also made to ensure dad is on the path to getting his license.
We were able to reimburse Officer Poole for $155.79 of formula and distilled water from donations to our general fund. Thank you to all our donors for your contributions.
