The students at Bessie Sherrod Price Preparatory Academy were so much fun this week when Columbus Division of Police Deputy Chief Tim Becker and Officer James Poole read to them for our Books & Badges program. The officers read to all of the classes over two days, and the children were so fun and inquisitive. They asked wonderful questions about policing, including what were the differences between Chief Becker and Officer Poole's jobs and what you have to do to become a deputy chief, and had a great time taking selfies with them.
