It was a fun day on the West Side today! Starfish Board Member and Columbus Division of Police Deputy Chief Tim Becker went to a Books & Badges reading with some of the Community Liaison Officers, including Lieutenant Kyle Kincade and Sergeant Ed Daniher. They read to three grades at Bridge Gate Elementary School, who was so happy to have them that they not only wrote welcoming words on the door, but they made a sign for them which read, "Welcome To First Grade, Columbus Police Officers. We Thank You For Your Service!"
After the reading, the officers stopped by to help out at the bike rodeo at Avondale Elementary that Officers E.H. Ortega and Shaquile Perry organized. What a great day for everyone!
