At our recent Books & Badges event at Lower Lights Ministries, it was "Animal Theme Week," so Columbus Division of Police Community Liaison Officer Kelly Shay (8 Precinct, Franklinton) read the children "The Truth (and Myths) About Weird Animals," by L.A. Peacock, and invited the CPD Therapy Dog Unit.
We loved seeing the kiddos cozied up with books and pups. While every child got to take a copy of the book home, therapy dogs Andy and Eddie went home with Sgt Boxill and Ofc Gagnon. 😉
