Gahanna Division of Police Detective Sergeant Ryan Utt read “Amazing Tigers” to 71 (!!) third graders at Royal Manor Elementary. After reading, he played “This or That?” with them in which he read two options and had them raise their hands to pick which was best. We learned they prefer chocolate chip cookies over sugar cookies, McDonald’s over Taco Bell, and going to the aquarium over the zoo. Then they asked him questions regarding his job such as “what is the biggest crime you have solved?” “why are you in normal clothes?” and the always popular “how many donuts do you usually eat?” We had a great time!
GPD's newest employee, Officer Gourd Lookin, also read through the book and said it was an excellent choice.
