Today Bikes & Badges received some important visitors--managers from all four of the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department centers our bikes giveaways will be held. They were able to see all the bikes the Columbus Division of Police and Starfish volunteers are fixing and talk about distribution on the days of the events.
We were excited to welcome Linden Center Manager and Starfish Board Member Mario Dovell, Far East Center Manager Roger Harper, Barack (South Side) Center Manager Mark Stansbery, and Westgate (Hilltop) Center Manager Denica Bruce. This will be Ms. Bruce's last large event with the City of Columbus--she will retire at the end of the month after more than 32 years of service. We are thrilled to be part of this last project with her.
