It's Our Fourth Anniversary!

Today we celebrated our fourth anniversary! Since we couldn't thank each of you individually for your support over the past four years, we decided it would be fun if we shared photos of us thanking some of the law enforcement officers we work with. We had such a great time visiting some of our partner agencies, saying hello and thanking them for helping us to help others. We partner with 15 agencies in three states, so we could not visit everyone in one day, but we tried. We were able to see Columbus Division of Police, the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, Franklin Township Police Department, the Columbus Regional Airport Authority at the John Glenn Columbus International Airport, Dublin Police Department, Hilliard Division of Police, Marion, Ohio Police Department, and Gahanna Division of Police. Whew!!

We got to see a couple of different units at CPD, including Homicide and K-9. Also, one of our CPD Liaisons, Commander Tim Myers, is deployed overseas this year with the Army, but that didn't stop him from joining in the celebration with a donut party!

All day, we saw so many smiles, met new friends, heard many thank yous, and got to see two K-9s. It was a great day, and we'd like to thank our sponsors, Walmart Dublin - Britton Pkwy, Byers Auto Group, and CME Federal Credit Union for providing the cupcakes and oranges. You would think that being asked to make 30 dozen cupcakes would upset most people, but no--the ladies at Walmart were sweetly arguing over who got to make the order. Isn't that adorable? Really--we got to meet one of them! She was very happy about the part she played, and we're very grateful to them. (Plus, they were delicious.)

To everyone who has supported our efforts over the past four years in any way, thank you. We are based on the idea that a small effort makes a difference, and we truly believe that. Thank you for being part of our work. We are grateful to all of you and look forward to many more years of service and partnership.
