Law Enforcement Torch Run 2025

Yesterday, we were excited to join Marion Police Lieutenant Mark Elliott, K-9 Ranger, their family, and friends at the Opening Ceremony of the 2025 Special Olympics Ohio State Summer Games.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run brought the Flame of Hope into Ohio State’s Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium to officially kick off a weekend of competition and camaraderie. Athletes from across the state gathered to showcase their dedication and spirit, cheered on by law enforcement officers from throughout Ohio.

We’re grateful to the officers and organizers who make this amazing event possible. And of course, Ranger was a fan favorite—his baseball-style card was a hit, and he happily greeted hundreds of people who remembered him from last year.
