Congratulations to Malissa Thomas St Clair of Mothers Of Murdered Columbus Children and the other hardworking volunteers who came together today for an amazing event of fun and camaraderie. There was so much to do and so many people that we didn't even get to see everything, let alone take photos of it all!
We were able to participate in the Trick or Treat portion of the event, with Columbus Division of Police and Gahanna Division of Police, handing out Blow Pops and slap bracelets to hundreds of happy children.
The Trick or Treat participants were able to decorate their tables, and we were so excited to see the joy and enthusiasm Starfish Board Member and CPD Lieutenant Chris Lieb brought to this project. He and his very capable helper, his son Brice, created a Halloween table that delighted kids and adults alike. We're so proud of them.
We made many new friends and saw many old ones, including people from AEP Ohio, WE ARE LINDEN, the Franklin County Sheriff's Office and the FBI – Federal Bureau of Investigation. Such a wonderful time. Thank you so much for letting us participate in this amazing community event.
