Columbus Division of Police Officer Brian Carter and his partner, K-9 Odja, received some heartfelt fan mail after their recent Books & Badges visit to Valley Forge Elementary. The second graders had thoughtful words of thanks, and we wanted to share a few of their sweet notes:
“We like when you answered our questions. We appreciate you helping keep our community safe.”
“We think your police dog Odja is amazing!”
“Thanks for the books, cards, and stickers. Thanks for saving us.”
Officer Carter and Odja clearly made a big impact during their visit. We’re grateful to the students and staff at Valley Forge for the warm welcome and for these thoughtful, funny, and sweet letters.
