30 Days of Kindness: Day 2

Thanks to Olivia for the photo on today's post. She gave Clorox and Wet Ones wipes to two Columbus Division of Police officers as part of our 30 Days of Kindness Challenge yesterday. Happy smiles from both officers, as you can see! What a great way to spread joy and support our first responders at the same time. If you have antibacterial wipes, hand gel, gloves, new thermometers, or even paper towels, this is a great idea. If you're in Columbus and need items picked up, please send us a message. We also heard from Kimberley, who said she baked muffins for her neighbors. If you remember, last night the weather was pretty nasty, so they were especially happy to have them to enjoy on such a gloomy evening. Angel wrote to us and said she donated toys to help someone celebrate their child's upcoming birthday. How sweet! Birthdays are so special for children, and in these tough times not everyone has the opportunity to provide for their kids, so that's really kind of Angel to do that. Maybe you have some ideas of what you'd like to do today. Here's one that won't take much time and can make a big difference. April 18 is National Lineworker Appreciation Day. Those of you who were at Cops and Barbers got to know a few lineworkers last year, and of course, all of us always appreciate their hard work. It's a tough job, often in grueling conditions. AEP Ohio, who is a big supporter of ours, has a site where you can directly thank a lineworker. It takes just a few minutes, and you'll have the chance to thank people you ordinarily don't get the opportunity to. We look forward to hearing more of your acts of kindness and seeing more photos! #30DaysofKindness
