Recently, 13 Precinct (South Side) Columbus Division of Police Officer Amanda Hoover asked for beds for a family in her area with multiple kiddos. We reached out to Jamie Wright, the President of Starfish Assignment Licking County, because we thought she knew of a place we could get beds. "Yes, I do," she replied. "Someone donated some to us!"
It turns out the bunk beds and pink toddler bed were a perfect fit for this very grateful family, who have been through some hard times but are now looking forward to better days. Jamie's husband, Officer Eddie Wright (8 Precinct, Franklinton), delivered the beds to the new apartment, where Ofc Hoover met up with all of them.
