We are excited to share another heartwarming holiday story of hope and joy. We had the privilege of partnering with Columbus Division of Police Officer Lutz in a special Christmas endeavor to bring joy to two wonderful families.
The first family, a close-knit group with strong ties in Linden, is known for their dedication to service and giving back to the community. Imagine our delight when a generous donor approached us, eager to help a family this Christmas! Thanks to Officer Lutz's recommendation, we were able to make this a reality.
We were grateful to spend time with them, chatting with the parents and older children as they happily unloaded gifts while the younger kids were kept away to save the surprise until Christmas Day.
Our journey continued in Milo-Grogan, where we met a loving grandmother who heads her family with grace and kindness. When Officer Lutz arrived with presents in tow, her reaction was a beautiful moment of gratitude and happiness that we'll never forget. Her tears of joy and heartfelt thank you's were a poignant reminder of the impact of our collective efforts.
Both families referred to Officer Lutz as an "angel" and their gratitude was expressed in hugs, smiles, and prayers. These moments are a testament to the power of community, compassion, and the spirit of giving.
